The OG Baka set is a fan favourite for a reason – The OG Baka set is a fan favourite for a reason - an instant best-selling classic that spawned a thousand imitation designs (thanks, fans!)

Available now and in stock on all stores.

The Baka set was originally meant to be called Baku, as in bakuhatsu, which is Japanese for Explosion, because the Scramble logos are “exploded.” But we went with Baka, because it’s funny, because ‘baka’ means stupid idiot in Japanese. Baka survivor! Anyway it doesn’t matter because this is one of the best no-gi sets we’ve ever released.

Own the most iconic images from some of the most i Own the most iconic images from some of the most iconic PRIDE FC matches in history with this collection. All officially licensed, printed in full colour on heavyweight tees. Rickson Gracie vs Nobuhiko Takada
PRIDE 1 The match that kicked it all off – with Rickson Gracie being the unbeaten, legend-in-the-making from Brazil, the formidable fighter from the first family of MMA, and Takada being a Japanese folk hero and pro-wrestling superstar. This match catapulted Pride to the top of the MMA world, cementing it as a spectacle like no other. This t-shirt celebrates the headline match from this marquee event. Wanderlei Silva vs Quinton Jackson
PRIDE 28 A legendary PRIDE Middleweight Championship bout where Wanderlei Silva unleashed relentless Muay Thai knees and aggression against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Known for its intensity and violent pace, the fight cemented Silva’s dominance in PRIDE and became one of the most replayed highlight finishes in MMA history. Don Frye vs Yoshihiro Takayama
PRIDE 21 Often called the most chaotic brawl in MMA history, Don Frye and Yoshihiro Takayama met in a furious stand-and-trade war from the opening bell. Thank you! Our first batch of Scramble x ThruDark Thank you! Our first batch of Scramble x ThruDark “Enshu” Gis have sold out on our stores, and the rest of the collection is on its way there. Thank you for the support. If you missed out, there is a restock on the way, so keep an eye out on socials for this.

The Enshu collection, brought to you by Scramble and ThruDark, is a collaborative release centred around Brazilian jiujitsu. ThruDark is one of the leading premium / technical / outdoor apparel clothing brands in Europe, founded by two special forces operatives, Anthony ‘Staz’ Stazicker and Louis Tinsley.

ThruDark co-founders Anthony ‘Staz’ Stazicker CGC and Louis Tinsley spent a combined 27 years in the British military, 18 of which were spent in the UK Special Forces. During this time, the two operated in some of the most hostile conditions and environments on the planet, undertaking dangerous operations regularly under the cover of night.

Scramble is the leading Brazilian jiujitsu, grappling and MMA brand in Europe, and have leant their expertise in creating BJJ kimonos and nogi training wear to this collaboration.

The collection features military-inspired details combined with hand-drawn elements. The Scramble x ThruDark skull lockup draws from the ever-popular skull motif, a constant reminder of our own ultimately limited time on this earth – and an image often co-opted by military and special forces. Underneath the skull there are two knives – one is a Japanese short sword, and one is the iconic Fairbairn-Sykes (F-S) Fighting Knife, used by British military and special forces. This symbolises the coming together of the two brands.

Underneath the skull, there is the Japanese phrase Jakuniku kyōshoku (弱肉強食) which is an idiom meaning “the weak are meat, the strong eat,” – essentially the “law of the jungle” or “survival of the fittest.” This is a phrase applicable to both military and martial arts scenarios and reflects the harsh reality of both of those. @thrudark

Take a minute to look at these photos – they are v Take a minute to look at these photos - they are very significant, both in MMA and in Scramble’s history. This is Rickson Gracie, BJJ, Vale Tudo and MMA pioneer, with Nobuhiko Takada, one of the most legendary Japanese pro wrestlers. You can argue that these two kicked off the modern era of MMA, headlining the first ever PRIDE event and ushering in a new level of mania around MMA.

In recent years, these former opponents have become close, with Takada regularly traveling to America to train Brazilian Jiujitsu with Rickson Gracie, and even grade under him. Their careers have come full circle, back to the start. The t-shirt they are holding is our most recent “Legendary Fight” tee, with incredible photography from Pride 1 by Susumu Nagao, which celebrates their historic clash.

Following on from our best-selling Scramble Never Die tees, these sets are inspired by the greatest MMA organisation ever to have existed, Pride Fighting Championships. “Pride Never Die” was a refrain coined by the organisation, ironically not long before it folded. However, Pride Never Die became a phrase associated with a fighting spirit born in the glory days of MMA and is now associated with warm fuzzy feelings about some of the greatest combat spectacles of all time. Hence, Scramble Never Die.
